Balliol JCR Freshers’ Week Timetable 2014

Items in bold are compulsory.

 

Sunday 5 October

18:00 – Early arrivals. Committee will be around College meeting freshers and showing them around.

18:30 – 20:00 Buffet in the JCR

20:00 – 22:00 Evening activities (meet in the JCR)

 

Monday 6 October

10:00 – Freshers arrive from 10am

10:00 – 18:00 Freshers collect keys and welcome pack from the OCR. Committee will be around College meeting freshers and showing them around.

Trinity Term Elections

Referenda

Ballots returned: 134 1. The JCR should adopt the proposed new Constitution and Standing Orders, subject to approval of the relevant College authorities.

  • 2 ballots were spoilt, blank or void.
  • Yes: 95 
  • No: 6
  • Abstain: 31

2. The JCR should apply to become an independent charity, upon the College's agreement, and the Constitution should be updated accordingly.
