Minutes
1. Matters Arising
Alcohol licence reimbursement pink week (Ellen)Â
Ellen requested reimbursement of 21 pounds for a temporary alcohol licence to sell alcohol during a Pink Week Comedy night.Â
Passes.
Table tennis equipment purchase (Francis and Sophie)
Francis and Sophie requested 30 pounds to replace table tennis equipment - bats and balls. It was suggested that the cost may not need to be as high as there are possibly spare table tennis balls in the jcr office.Â
Motion passes (for funding of £30 if balls are needed too, £15 otherwise).Â
LGBT Tea event (Tanja and Mick) Â
Tanja and Mick informed us of their plans to hold a LGBT tea event - most likely around 4-6pm next Monday. They wanted to check there was no clashes with anything else - which there wasn’t.
Leah reminded everyone that it’s a good idea to put any events in the calendar and to run them past RQ.Â
2. AOB
College visit from China
Leah and Art informed the committee that there will be a visit from an university in China visit next week. They are looking at doing a discussion/debate after a talk they will attend - so they need people doing similar subjects to them to debate the motions. Currently not sure what the motions will be.
