    1. Matters Arising

    Renaming Fridge Room

Huw Braithwaite paid £400 to have the fridge room after him for charity. RQ doesn’t believe that this should be allowed as it may set a precedent. Lauren noted that Huw should be refunded. Leah suggested that a plaque might be erected in the fridge room to Huw Braithwaite. Hannah noted that any refund will come out of charity fund. She asked if RQ was aware of how much money Huw paid to have the room named after him. Leah didn’t think she was. She was consulted last year but must have missed the fact that a room was to be re-named. It was agreed that Huw should be asked if he was happy with a plaque, and if not he would have to be refunded.

    Signs from Grenfell Vigil

Isis requested £5.07 to re-imburse her for sign and decoration from Grenfell vigil. She also noted that the sign contains the signatures of around 40 people.Isis noted that there may be another vigil at some point. Hence it makes sense to keep the sign around, though not necessarily on display. Hannah suggested leaving in the nook. Leah suggested keeping it in the JCR office.

    No objections, motion passes.
