Duncan Shepherd introduced co-options. Both pairs of nominees made speeches explaining why they thought they would be good for the job. Questions from committee members followed.
Joshua Warwick and William McCarthy were duly elected.

Aisha asked people to pidge receipts to Denise for any expenses occurred in Freshers’ Week.

Matt announced that Ben has decided to step down from Entz. We decided to co-opt a new Entz officer next week.

Committee passed Kat up to £50 for pumpkin carving in the JCR.

John asked if anyone has the guillotine from the JCR office. It appears to have gone missing.

Aisha said that Nikki Trott suggested the JCR produces a Naked Calendar. Emily said the Charities Officers would look into this possibility.

Duncan said that elections will be running in 4th and 6th week. Duncan asked Committee to speak to JCR members about their positions and to encourage them to consider running in the elections. Kat and Charlotte said they will be encouraging women in the JCR to consider running for positions that may be seen by some as traditionally ‘male’.
