Dear friends and family of Laurie,
We gather here today to pay our respects to a man who lived a life filled with joy, passion, and love. Laurie was a beloved figure in our community, known for his unwavering spirit and his love for running the Lindsay Bar.
Laurie had a passion for life that was contagious. He loved to sample the latest fruity reds and zesty whites, always eager to find the perfect pairing for his customers. He was always dressed to impress, never without his green sliders, which brought a smile to everyone's face.
Unfortunately, it was these very sliders that led to his untimely demise. He fell victim to a slip and fall accident, which took him from us far too soon. But despite this tragedy, we must remember the good times and the laughter that Laurie brought into our lives.
Laurie was a true romantic, with a heart full of love for his two husbands, Alex and Ben. He always put their happiness before his own, and he was their rock through thick and thin. Their love for each other was a testament to the deep and abiding love that Laurie had for those around him.
Today, we say goodbye to a dear friend, a loving husband, and a cherished member of our community. We will miss his laughter, his smile, and the warmth that he brought into our lives. But his legacy will live on, in the memories of those he touched and in the spirit of love that he embodied.
Rest in peace, Laurie. You will be missed, but never forgotten. And we sincerely hope that you can make it to BRATS and the Charity Musical Auction.
