Minutes
- Molly wants to buy a small cupboard for £36.99 for storing craft stuff in. Duncan asked if it was lockable; Molly said it was, but that she would need to buy a lock. John asked if she would to go and buy it herself, or if she wanted someone else to go; she responded that she hadn't decided yet. We passed up to £50Â
- Jack commented that the ACaF noticeboard was particularly rubbish. It was observed that many people were very busy, and Aisha said she'd be willing to help out with noticeboards if people didn't have time.
- Molly said that Hall was quite stressful for her and others, primarily because of the overcrowding. She was wondering if Hall could do a better job of making sure there was food later on, to try and spread out the numbers of people. It was decided that Duncan should bring this to Catering Committee later, and that he should discuss the matter further with Molly.
- Matt Lynch wants to have the election shown all night, though the Dean has said it can only be shown until 2am. Duncan said that he felt the best approach was for him to mention it to the Dean during his meeting at 2, and then for Matt to discuss it properly in a separate meeting.
AOB
- John asked if we were going to tell people where to vote, in case they couldn't remember. Duncan said he would.
- Alex asked about the recent Love Oxford Christian music event, and how many complaints had been received. Duncan said that he'd received 18 complaints, that these were being forwarded by Jo Roadknight to the council, and that anyone who still wanted to complain should do so. Apparently, the event also exceeded its permitted hours.Â
- Jess said that the head of Oxford Careers was giving a talk on Gender and Equality in Careers in a couple of weeks at Balliol, and asked that people should attend. The Committee thanked Jess and Ryan for their exemplary work on the Careers front.
