Dougās Leaving Present [Alex Bartram]
AB explained that we had a choice of two presents: āa tasteful silver bookmark with an engravingā or āa tasteful silver cork stopperā. The third option is a pair of cufflinks, but thatās possibly a bit uninteresting. HMW said that we also need to get a present for Hayley Hooper. KH said that we should vote. DT accepts the āsub-committeeās reportā. DT asked how many presents we would get and how much the engraving would cost. JJ said that the engraving would be at least Ā£25. The cork stop is Ā£60, so DT suggested passing more than Ā£100. AB said that they were considering āwith thanks, from Balliol JCRā. AB said that we donāt need the crest as Doug probably already has a lot of silver with the Balliol crest. DT said that Doug would be in Oxford until September. DT said that we should pass a further Ā£50 (as well as the current Ā£100) for any more engraving costs. We thought that the bottle-stop would be better because it would be used more than a silver bookmark. We mandated AB and JJ to get the bottle-stop and the engravings sorted.
Co-options [Ellie Fox]
EF has co-opted a further nine people onto the committee, and read these names out. DT said that as soon as the ball committee was formed it would be out of the JCR committeeās hands. SB asked if roles had been assigned to these people: they have.
Plea for help [Krista Halttunen]
KH said that she will be emailing us all over the summer about Freshers Week. Please reply! KH said that this bop will be her last day of finals and that she may not be in a supervisory state. CF said that we should let KH off. KH said that she will try to be there but it would be good if clean-up could happen without too much reliance on her.

Whiskey Tasting [Alex Mullan]
AM said that Doug has been invited to whiskey tasting, and we would like to pass Ā£12 to allow him to do this for free. We passed Ā£12 to do this.
Term card [Dan Turner]
DT said that people should update the term card for the following term.
The JCR congratulates the new member of the MCR committee. JM said that it might be good if DT sent out an email connecting up the new MCR with the current JCR.
MD also said that people should draft their hand-over pack over the summer, so that they can be easily sent off to me.Ā AM said that he didnāt get one from Angus because he was re-typing the entire thing. AM found a hard copy in the JCR office and would encourage people to look there if they donāt have a hand-over pack.
RM offered to do the ball website.
DT is going to source people to go to the OUSU meeting tomorrow.Ā
